I studied fashion design in college and loved every minute of it! After college I was fortunate enough to find a GREAT job as a technical designer for a OshKosh B'Gosh. I love what I do, but the job is less creative, and more mathematical. I still need an outlet to express all my creativity! Thus, on the weekends I love to get all crafty and sew stuff!!
I found this silk cotton blended fabric at Gail K. fabrics (a fabric store within walking distance of my apartment in Atlanta) and I fell in love! I immediately pictured this skirt!!
The skirt is a really simple design that sort of reminds me of a pool cabana at a posh hotel.
I wanted it to hit at the waist so it would be flattering on all body shapes! We gotta accentuate our tiniest parts people!
Outfit details
