This DIY project was super easy, super cheap, and super cute. (Ok, it was just all around super.) Since I used a jersey T, I didn't worry about finishing the raw edges. They won't unravel with a knit. I had been drooling over the turban trend since I saw Emily wearing one the other day. Hers was from Anthropologie for about $30. I decided to try and make my own. Total cost: $0!! It was so fun that I now have no more T-shirts to sleep in or work out it. I do however have a lot of cute headbands!

super easy, but using an old t-shirt of mine rendered a TEENY headband.....did you use a larger size shirt?
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica,
DeleteYes, I've found that a medium or large size shirt works better. The yellow one in the picture above was a small but it is a really stretchy modal jersey with a little spandex so it was very stretchy and worked nicely. :)
This is so cute!! I can't wait to try this with an old t-shirt!
ReplyDeleteVery informative article' Looking forward for more articles on your blog
